Boston Buddies will be at the Inaugural Surf City Surf Dog on October 11, 2009 at Huntington Dog Beach in California.
There will be loads of activities, vendors, dog expos and other contests that you and your Boston can participate in. Boston Buddies is asking for supporters and volunteers to raise money to help our cause. Chipin and pledge for Boston Buddies. Help us continue to provide forever loving homes for Boston Terriers in need. We need your support. Mugsy, the Boston Tiki Surf Dog, will be representing Boston Buddies in the competition. Boston Buddies, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescuing and rehoming of any Boston Terrier or Boston Terrier mix in need. We adopt our rescue Bostons from shelters, take in owner surrenders and rescue strays.
Boston Buddies operates primarily throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Kern and Ventura counties and surrounding areas. Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes with loving permanent families, specifically interested in the breed. We do this by providing temporary foster care, medical treatment, personality assessments of the animals, and interviews and home checks of potential adopters. Each dog is examined by a veterinarian and provided with all necessary and reasonable medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, micro chipped and put on heartworm preventative.
